Today we moved the Minti site from its holding test bed over to the net and everyone can now access it at www.minti.com.  Pushing the parenting metaphor a little far may I just say “May the young child grow to be a beautiful adult”.  Clay, Rachel and I (with plenty of help from our Board) will do all in our power to help this community grow and thrive.

Working on Minti is such fun, heaps of information on parenting every day, cutting edge technology every night and great people to work with throughout.  Today is a fantastic day for Minti and represents the first big step into the wide-world for an idea which was just a spark of a thought some 9 months ago.
We have had a couple of blogs mention us but I shall leave the blog analysis and trackback stuff to Clay so that everyone gets their due.  For now I shall give thanks to our technical crew at Market United who have put this site together in record time and handled all of our requests for changes and improvements with professionalism and a very positive attitude.

I think it may be a good time to hint at some of our future enhancements which will roll out over the coming months:

• Community features for friends grouping/private discussions amongst members
• “People who read this article also enjoyed…” features
• Content creation support
• Vote tracking features
• RSS Feeds for article tagged categories
• “Members online” functionality

The priority on these items will be guided by our members.  Hope to see you soon in Minti !
